Dating apps turned people into inventory. Someone gets passed over because of one prompt answer, a thin profile, or a box they didn't check. Conversations end in silence with no explanation. Photos turn out to be ten years old. And some people say they want something serious when they really don't. With what feels like an endless supply of options, it's easy to move on to the next person instead of getting to know the one in front of you.
We wanted to create something different for our generation. We offer chances to meet in person, in casual settings, with the comfort of knowing everyone has been vetted and is who they say they are. You get to see someone's smile, hear their laugh, and decide for yourself. We're the generation that learned to trust our gut, not an algorithm. The GenX Table works the same way.

Starting over in my mid-fifties wasn't in my plans.
When I moved to Northern California, I left behind decades of friendships and found out how hard it is to meet people at this stage of life. So I built the place I wished existed.
