That's when I learned how hard it is to meet people at this stage of life. Most of us are juggling adult kids, teenagers, aging parents, and work. And when we do try the apps, they can leave us feeling like we're never quite enough. You enjoy talking with someone, and then they disappear without a word. Or you wonder if you're settling, because it always seems like someone better is just one swipe away.
So I built The GenX Table. We host small, vetted gatherings where people who've lived enough life to know what they want can meet face to face. That means real conversation, thoughtfully chosen groups, and someone paying attention to who belongs at the table together.
My career has always been about service and making a difference where it matters, and for me that means connecting people and building community. I'm also a published author and content creator, and I've spent years in personal development and leadership training—work that shaped how I listen, communicate, and bring people together. But mostly, I know what it's like to start over, and I'm guessing you do too.
This is the space I always wished existed. I'm glad you're here.

Starting over in my mid-fifties wasn't in my plans.
In 2025, I moved to Northern California to be with my teenage son. He'd moved up a few years earlier to be near his dad, and when he needed his mom close too, I made the choice to follow. I left behind my two grown children and a community of friends I'd spent decades building in Southern California. Suddenly I was beginning again in a new place.

Our Vision
We're just getting started, and we're starting with what matters most. Real people, in real rooms, having real conversations. Our mixers are the foundation, bringing GenX singles together in curated, in-person settings.
As our community grows, so will we. Speed dating is next. Once we've built a strong, vetted membership, we'll launch personalized matchmaking, shaped by everything we've learned from bringing you together in person.
Every mixer you attend helps build something bigger.
